Floating in Alaska
Such gratitude lifts my spirit.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU NYC

I am infatuated with THANK YOU bags. They seem to embody some of the qualities that have me torn between favoring interactions in the big cities VS very small communities - referencing forms of Insincere Etiquette. Which one wins: small town small talk & obligatory niceties OR a billion big city "thanks" stamped on plastic?

I've been doing a series of larger bags built from bags collected during day to day purchases in NYC. Most recent edition consisted of 205 Thank You bags. The shoots brought sweet sailing during a visit to my childhood home in Alaska. Thanks to Shannon - my partner jumper.
